「AI事業者の情報公開を」新聞協会の意見は正論も大丈夫？
当ブログでは、生成AIによる著作権の問題なども取り上げています。
生成AIをビジネスや論文（卒論含む）で使うのはリスキーですね。
とはいえ、生成AIをすべて否定するものでもありません。
学習元が明らかな生成AIなら、著作権の問題は生じにくいです。
また、完全な私的使用なら問題は生じにくいでしょう。
例えば、私が生成AIを使うなら、こんな感じで使うでしょう。
「世の中の出来事をざっくりまとめて」
便利だと思いませんか？新聞などメディアの代わり？
そんな中、こんなニュース記事を見かけました。
『AI事業者の情報公開を 新聞協会が政府計画に対して意見』
■「AI事業者の情報公開を」は正論も新聞は大丈夫？
「情報公開を」はAIの学習元の公開をということですね。
上述のように、学習元が明らかなら、著作権の問題は生じにくいです。
この点では、新聞協会の主張は正論です。
ただこれに対する、ネットの声は厳しいです。
ネットの声の中心は、
「生成AIはむしろ新聞を学習しないほうが内容が偏向しなくていい」
新聞協会が意見したのは、生成AIのせいでアクセス減少→収入減。
ただ、アクセス減少の本当の原因は生成AIではないかも知れませんね。
それに、新聞協会の意見は、正論ですが、効果は薄そうです。
✓AI事業者が新聞を学習していないと主張したら、反論は難しい
✓新聞のアクセス減少と、AI事業者の学習の相関の証明も難しい
✓AI事業者が新聞を学習しなくなるかも（現状は不明）
新聞を学習しなくても、SNS等があります。
SNS等で世の声を学習すれば、生成AIには十分の可能性があります。
そしてネットの声のように、そのほうがAIの生成内容が偏らなくなる？
むしろこのほうが新聞にとっては危機では？大丈夫？
■新聞には頑張ってほしい！

本記事は新聞に辛辣ですが、AIよりも新聞を応援したいです！
新聞にはこんな感じで頑張ってもらうのがいいのではないでしょうか？
✓適正な取材をして、オリジナルの記事を作る
→オリジナル記事がAIに完コピで生成されたら、著作権侵害で訴える

■ Is the opinion that "AI companies should disclose information" sound, even if newspapers are okay?
"Disclosure of information" refers to disclosing the AI's learning source.
As mentioned above, copyright issues are unlikely to arise if the learning source is clear.
On this point, the NSKJ's argument is sound.
However, online criticism has been harsh.
The main argument online is that
"generative AI would be less biased if it didn't study newspapers."
The NSKJ's argument is that generative AI has led to a decrease in access, which in turn has led to a decrease in revenue.
However, the real cause of the decrease in access may not be generative AI.
Furthermore, while the NSKJ's argument is sound, it seems unlikely to be effective.
✓It's difficult to refute claims that AI companies don't study newspapers.
✓It's also difficult to prove a correlation between decreased newspaper access and AI companies' learning.
✓AI companies may no longer study newspapers (the current situation is unknown).
Even without studying newspapers, there are social media platforms and other platforms.
If generative AI could learn from public opinion on social media platforms, it has ample potential.
And, as online criticism suggests, would this result in less biased content generated by AI?
In fact, isn't this a greater threat to newspapers? Is everything okay?
■We want newspapers to do their best!
The reason I write about AI on this blog is to protect creators.
This article is harsh on newspapers, but I would rather support newspapers than AI!
Wouldn't it be better for newspapers to work hard like this?
✓ Conduct proper research and create original articles
→ If an original article is copied exactly by an AI, sue them for copyright infringement.
Still, the relationship between newspapers and AI... seems strange to me these days.
