「知的財産セミナー」に弁理士は全く登場しない？【リライト版】
とはいえ、なんとなく曖昧に使われていてよくわからない？
本記事では「知的財産」の周辺知識をお伝えします。
■「知的財産セミナー」に弁理士は全く登場しない？
あるメールマガジンを購読しています。
やはり弁理士がこのセミナーをやった方がいいですね。
このセミナーは、より一般的な経営戦略でしょう。
（私はブログで労務のネタも書いていますが社労士は未登録）
この点はちょっと残念でした。
弁理士は、みなさん忙しいのでしょうね。
ただここ何年も辞退しています。
今後はセミナーをできる時間も作りたいと思います。

Its main content consists of announcements for seminars and the like.
A recent issue featured an announcement for "Intellectual Property Seminars."
There were indeed several seminars listed under the "intellectual property" category.
When one thinks of "intellectual property," patents, utility models, designs, and trademarks come to mind.
I naturally assumed these seminars would be conducted by patent attorneys.
However, as shown below, not a single patent attorney appeared (haha).
Let me briefly introduce the content of these "Intellectual Property Seminars."
(1) Essential Knowledge About Copyright
Copyright is a form of intellectual property right. Patent attorneys handle copyright matters as well.
It really would be better if a patent attorney conducted this seminar.
(2) Valuing People! "Intellectual Asset Management"
It says "assets" rather than "property." So close! (haha)
Come to think of it, patents and the like are arguably "assets" rather than just "property."
Perhaps it is acceptable to refer to patents and similar rights as "intellectual assets."
(3) Brand Marketing Seminar
In a strict sense, a "brand" equates to a trademark.
This seminar likely focuses on general business strategy.
The following topics seem to have little connection to "intellectual property":
(4) Seminar on Practical Responses to the Revised Act against Unjustifiable Premiums and Misleading Representations
(5) What Is Compliance?
(6) Introduction to Business Law
(7) Legal Fundamentals for Contract Practice
■ Anyone Can Hold an Intellectual Property Seminar, But...
There is no requirement that one must hold a specific professional qualification to conduct such a seminar. (I write about labor-related topics on my blog, though I am not a registered Labor and Social Security Attorney.)
Seminars regarding patents can be conducted by professionals other than patent attorneys.
However, a seminar on "intellectual property" where not a single patent attorney appears?
That was a bit disappointing.
I suppose patent attorneys are all very busy.
I do occasionally receive requests to serve as a seminar speaker myself.
However, I have been declining them for the past several years.
I would like to make time to conduct seminars in the future.
I will do my best to help people learn more about patent attorneys.
(I could even create new content by gathering topics that are difficult to cover on this blog.)
