批判する人は、特許の知識はゼロで、批判が趣味な人なのでしょう。
謝罪する側も謝罪する側です。
これは謝罪の形を取った宣伝広告なのかも知れませんね。

① "Unauthorized patent filing"
You might see news articles like this:
"Industry in crisis after [XXX] has a patent filed for it by an overseas company without permission."
[XXX] refers to a specific technology or invention; this part is simply swapped out and reused in various stories.
If the patent application lacks novelty, it won't be granted.
If it *does* have novelty, it will be granted—and that is simply how the system works.
Are there really no patent experts in that industry?
In other cases, too, a patent professional could easily handle the situation.
② "Apologizing after obtaining a patent"
You might see news articles like this:
"Patent obtained for [XXX]; flooded with criticism claiming 'lack of novelty'—backlash continues even after apology."
The people criticizing likely have zero knowledge of patents and simply enjoy criticizing things.
As for the party apologizing—well, that’s a whole other issue.
It might even be a form of advertising disguised as an apology.
By the way, there are similar types of "fluff" stories regarding trademarks, too.
■ Experts Often Find Many Articles Disappointing
✓ It is said that the news displayed varies from person to person.
Patent stories like the ones above might only appear on *my* smartphone or PC.
If such stories appear on your feed, there is no point in reading them.
✓ Experts in other fields likely find many news articles in their areas disappointing as well. I specialize in labor-related matters (I have passed the Certified Social Insurance and Labor Consultant exam but am not currently registered).
Unfortunately, there are many articles on labor topics that leave much to be desired.
It is fine to enjoy news and social media discussions as a form of entertainment.
However, a true expert naturally wants to correct the misinformation circulating in the world.
If you value accurate information over mere entertainment, I encourage you to seek out insights from genuine experts!
