AI否定派が「子供の生成AI使用」を肯定してみた！
こんな内容のニュース記事を見ました。
生成AIを否定する親の気持ちはよくわかります。
私もクリエーター保護という観点ではありますが生成AIは否定派です。
ただ「子供の」生成AI利用についてはメリットも大きいものです。
本記事では、子供の生成AIの使用を肯定してみます。
ちなみに、上記ニュース記事への読者のコメントはごく少数でした。
AIって皆さんあまり興味ないのですね。
ただ、子供のメリットになりますのでご参考にどうぞ。

（１）生成AIは子供の能動性・主体性・好奇心を育てる
（２）世の中の常識を早めに知ることができる
（３）ただし、こんなものまでAIと言っているのなら・・・
生成AIを使うには、指示（プロンプト）を与えなければなりません。
能動的・主体的に行動する必要があります。
この点は子供にとって、メリットが大きいです。
私たちだって、子供の頃は好奇心で色々聞いたり調べたりしましたね。
昔は聞く相手が親でした。今は生成AIになったということです。
そんな子供の好奇心を否定する必要はないでしょう。
■（２）世の中の常識を早めに知ることができる
「大人の事情」というものがあります。
本来はルール違反なものを、周りに合わせて無視することがあります。
子供は純真です。
悪いものは悪いと早めに知っておけば、大人の事情は無くなるかも！
例えば、
✓労働問題（サービス残業、中間管理職の残業不払いなど）
✓お天気ニュース（大げさな報道がオオカミ少年で被害を生む）
ブラック企業や一方的・大げさな報道は無くなるかも知れません。
■（３）ただし、こんなものまでAIと言っているのなら・・・
子供が生成AIを使うメリットを挙げてみました。
ただし注意すべき点もあります。
①単に受け身でタブレットなどを使うことまでAIと言っている？
→受け身の使用（ショート動画など）に上記のメリットはありません
②生成AIで生成したものの発信は避ける！
→著作権侵害・情報漏洩・犯罪利用などの責任は親が負うリスク
生成AIは小学生の使い方を見習えばリスクよりメリットが大

■ (1) Generative AI fosters proactivity, agency, and curiosity in children
To use generative AI, one must provide instructions (prompts).
It requires acting proactively and taking initiative.
This offers significant benefits for children.
When we were children, we asked questions and researched things out of curiosity, didn't we?
In the past, we asked our parents; now, generative AI fills that role.
There is no need to stifle that kind of childhood curiosity.
■ (2) Children can learn about real-world norms and realities early on
There is such a thing as "adult circumstances" (or the realities of the adult world).
Sometimes, people ignore rules—even though they are technically violations—simply to conform to those around them.
Children are innocent.
If they learn early on that "wrong is wrong," perhaps those "adult circumstances" could disappear!
For example:
✓ Labor issues (unpaid overtime, unpaid overtime for middle management, etc.)
✓ Generative AI issues (copyright infringement, business usage risks, etc.)
✓ Weather news (sensationalist reporting that causes harm, like the "Boy Who Cried Wolf")
Exploitative companies and one-sided or sensationalist reporting might just disappear. ■ (3) However, if even *this* is being called "AI"...
I have listed the benefits of children using generative AI.
However, there are also points to be aware of.
① Is the mere passive use of devices like tablets being labeled as "AI"?
→ Passive usage (such as watching short-form videos) does not offer the benefits mentioned above.
② Avoid sharing content created with generative AI!
→ Parents risk bearing liability for issues such as copyright infringement, information leaks, or use in criminal activities.
