天気の大げさ表現はAIが書いている？ポジティブに生かそう！
そんな曲がありますが、今年は「ピーク」すらありませんでしたね。
■８月に「冬」？
８月末の今日、ネットで「冬」の語が飛び交っていました。
たしかにこちら東京は、風が涼しく感じます。
「冬」は大げさですが「秋」を感じる風です。
８月なのにこれも「異常気象」なのでしょうか？
（実際は昨年も８月最終週は台風で涼しかった）
天気予報士にその辺を解説してもらえるといいですね。
（冒頭の曲にも「天気予報士」が出てきますね）
まずは今年の夏の備忘録として本記事に残します。
■天気の大げさ表現はAIが書いている？
近年ではネットの話題はAIが書いているものも多いと言われます。
冒頭の「冬」もそうなのかも知れませんね。
そしてこれは、個人のSNSの投稿に限ったお話しではありません。
例えば、こんな大げさ表現は誰でも一度は見たことがあるでしょう。
「42度の災害級酷暑」「トリプル台風」「1000年に一度の大雨」
「スーパーエルニーニョ」「逆走ノロノロ台風」
今後も天気の大げさ表現はなくなりません。
ですので私たちは、これをポジティブに生かすようにしましょう。
一番良いのは、大げさな表現を「覚えておく」ことです。
すると、ふだんの天気がずっと穏やかに感じられます。
例えばこんなふうに感じられます。
✓「体温に迫る暑さ」と報じられても、42度よりずっと低い！
✓台風（１つ？ノロノロ？）は涼しさを運んでくれるありがたい存在！
✓〇年に一度ってすごいのかすごくないのか分からない！
■灯火消えんとして光を増す
今年の夏は、大元の気象庁の発表からして、暑さ控えめの夏でした。
AIに大げさに表現させたとしても、大した内容にならないでしょう。
もしかするとさらにライターが大げさに書き直している？
上記の大げさ表現は、AIよりも稚拙な表現に見えます。
「ぼくがかんがえたさいあくのてんき」みたいな感じ（笑）
「トリプル」の次ってなんだっけ？「１万年に一度」になる？
もうこれ以上大げさにするのは難しい？
灯火消えんとして光を増す？
上記の大げさ表現を覚えておきましょう。
今後の夏もきっと快適に過ごせるはずです。

There’s a song that goes like that, but this year, there wasn't even a "peak" to speak of.
■ "Winter" in August?
Today—the end of August—the word "winter" was flying around the internet.
It’s true; here in Tokyo, the breeze feels cool.
"Winter" might be an exaggeration, but the wind certainly feels like autumn.
Is this "abnormal weather," even though it's August?
(Actually, it was cool during the last week of August last year, too, thanks to typhoons.)
It would be great to have a weather forecaster explain this.
(A "weather forecaster" even appears in the song I mentioned earlier.)
For now, I’m recording this here as a memo of this summer.
■ Is AI writing those exaggerated weather reports?
They say that a lot of the topics discussed online these days are written by AI.
Perhaps that "winter" comment was one of them.
"Take the Japan Meteorological Agency's announcement and exaggerate the wording." (★)
They might be uploading the results of instructions like that to the internet.
And this isn't limited to posts on personal social media accounts.
■ Let's put exaggerated weather reports to positive use!
It’s said that AI writes many weather news reports, too.
For instance, I’m sure everyone has seen exaggerated phrases like these at least once:
"Disaster-level extreme heat of 42°C," "Triple typhoons," "Once-in-a-millennium heavy rain,"
"Super El Niño," or "Slow-moving typhoon moving in reverse."
Exaggerated weather descriptions aren't going away anytime soon.
So, let's try to make positive use of them.
The best approach is to simply "keep those exaggerated phrases in mind."
That way, the actual weather will feel much milder by comparison.
You might find yourself thinking things like this:
✓ Even if they report "heat approaching body temperature," it's still way lower than 42°C!
✓ A typhoon (just one? moving slowly?) is a welcome visitor that brings cooler air! ✓ I can't tell if "once-in-a-decade" is actually a big deal or not!
■ A flame flares up brightest just before it goes out
To begin with, the Japan Meteorological Agency’s forecast for this summer predicted relatively mild heat.
Even if you asked AI to hype it up, the result wouldn't amount to much.
Perhaps a human writer is exaggerating it even further?
The hyperbolic phrasing mentioned above actually looks clumsier than what AI would produce.
It feels like something a kid would come up with—"The Worst Weather I Can Imagine" (lol).
What comes after "triple"? Does it jump to "once in 10,000 years"?
Is it hard to make it any more dramatic than that?
A flame flares up brightest just before it goes out?
Let's keep that exaggerated phrasing in mind.
We should be able to get through future summers comfortably, too.
