暑い日もジャケットを着て特許庁で仕事をしてくる理由【幸せの決め手２つ】
個人的な話しではなく「幸せ」のために重要な考え方をお伝えします。

特に仕事でこれらの考え方を取り入れると、日々が充実します！
■暑い日もジャケットを着て特許庁で仕事をしてくる理由
おかげさまで特許のご依頼を数多く頂いております。
暑くなってからも頻繁に特許庁に行って特許調査をしています。
私はどんなに暑い日でもジャケットは欠かしません（笑）
調査のためだけにわざわざ特許庁に行く？それもジャケットを着て？
その理由は・・・
特許庁で調査したほうが精度が上がるのもあります。
お世話になった特許庁への敬意みたいなものもあります。
上腕部に手術跡があるので、半袖が苦手なのもあります。
それよりもずっと重要な理由があります。
①特許庁での調査は楽しい！
私は特許の審査官をしていました。
特許庁に設置の「高度な特許調査が可能な端末」を使っていました。
慣れている端末なので、楽しく調査ができます。
暑い日でも特許庁に行くのは、その方が楽しく効率的だからです。
②ジャケットを着たいから着る！
ジャケットを着るか？着ないか？これを自分で選びます。
「自己決定感」は幸福度をアップする大きな要因です。
■楽しさと自己決定感を意識しましょう！

Thanks to everyone's support, I receive a large number of patent-related requests.
Even as the weather heats up, I frequently visit the Patent Office to conduct patent searches.
No matter how hot it gets, I never go without my jacket (haha).
You go all the way to the Patent Office just for a search? And in a jacket, too?
Here are the reasons why...
Conducting searches at the Patent Office yields higher accuracy.
I feel a sense of respect for the Patent Office, which has supported me throughout my career.
I also dislike wearing short sleeves because I have surgical scars on my upper arms.
But there is a far more important reason.
① Searching at the Patent Office is fun!
I used to work as a patent examiner.
I used to use the terminals installed at the Patent Office that allow for advanced patent searches.
Since I’m used to those terminals, I find the search process enjoyable.
I go to the Patent Office even on hot days because it’s both fun and efficient.
② I wear a jacket because I *want* to!
To wear a jacket or not? That is a choice I make for myself.
I don’t reluctantly switch to short sleeves just because everyone around me is wearing them.
A sense of "self-determination" is a major factor in boosting happiness.
■ Focus on Enjoyment and Self-Determination!
In this article, I’ve discussed the importance of enjoyment and self-determination.
Being conscious of these two things in your daily life—especially at work—will make your days more fulfilling.
Come to think of it, small business owners often seem happy.
Of course, small businesses come with their own unique set of challenges.
But beyond that, they find happiness in the sense of fulfillment and the ability to make their own choices. I am a small business owner myself.
