「ビンゴシュート!」をご存じですか？記憶を振り返ってみた
わたし個人的には、坂東さんについては、
✓プロ野球選手としての活躍は知らない
✓バラエティー番組は本当に楽しみでした
✓ゆで卵で知られていますがその理由は知らない
板東さんのバラエティー番組は楽しかったですね。
「マジカル頭脳パワー」はYouTubeでも楽しめます。
（著作権の問題は今回は触れないことにしましょう）
もう一つ板東さんと言えば「ビンゴシュート!」です。
視聴者参加型の画期的な番組でした。
私も参加しました（というより、多くの視聴者が参加できた！）
こちらはYouTubeに動画がありませんでした。
そこで「ビンゴシュート!」の記憶を振り返ってみます。
■「ビンゴシュート!」の記憶を振り返ってみた
このバラエティー番組の画期的な点は、
✓視聴者が番組に往復はがきを出すと、ビンゴカードが返信される
✓番組内でビンゴが行われる
✓ビンゴが揃ったらその場で番組に電話する→商品獲得のチャンス
こんな感じだったと記憶しています。
いまWikipediaで調べたら、
✓番組名は『THE ビッグ!』
✓板東さんが1979年8月からメインMCを担当
✓「ビンゴシュート!」の掛け声とともに投球フォームを披露
■テレビの代わりはなに？子供の頃の記憶を作るもの
板東さんの掛け声や投球フォームは今でも記憶に残っています。
「ビンゴシュート!」ではなく「ビンゴ～シュート!」でしたね。
改めて板東英二さんのご冥福をお祈り申し上げます。
そういえば、視聴者参加型のテレビ番組がなくなりましたね。
子供の頃の記憶を、大人になって思い出すのもいいものです。

It was a groundbreaking show that allowed viewer participation.
I participated too (or rather, a great many viewers were able to participate!).
There were no videos of it on YouTube, though.
So, I’m going to take a trip down memory lane and recall "Bingo Shoot!"
■ Looking back at memories of "Bingo Shoot!"
What made this variety show groundbreaking was:
✓ Viewers would send a return-address postcard to the show and receive a bingo card in return.
✓ A bingo game would take place during the broadcast.
✓ If you got a bingo, you would call the show right then and there—giving you a chance to win a prize.
That is how I remember it.
I just looked it up on Wikipedia:
✓ The show's title was *THE Big!*
✓ Mr. Bando served as the main MC starting in August 1979.
✓ He would show off his pitching form while shouting the catchphrase "Bingo Shoot!"
■ What replaces TV? Things that shape childhood memories
Mr. Bando's catchphrase and pitching form remain in my memory to this day.
It wasn't just "Bingo Shoot!"—it was more like "Bingo... Shoot!"
Once again, may Eiji Bando rest in peace.
Come to think of it, viewer-participation TV shows have disappeared, haven't they?
The ability to manage non-professionals and create entertaining shows seems to have been lost!
People say there are issues on the production side, too—it's a shame!
It’s a wonderful thing to look back on childhood memories as an adult.
In this day and age, what takes the place of television?
