「IT」は「AI」に変化？「BG」とは？表現の変化を楽しもう！
そんな新聞記事の見出しが・・・』
いきなりですが（笑）
推理小説「殺してやりたい」（笹沢左保著）の一節です。
「BG」ってなんだろう？
それこそ「推理」してみました。
時代とともに言葉が変わるのは面白いものです。
（BGは今ではOL…いや、今はOLもあまり使われなくなった？）
少し昔の小説などを読むのは学びになります。
一方、マスコミが表現をゴリ押ししてくるように感じる方もいますね。
表現の変化・社会の変化は、良い面も悪い面もあります。
悪い面だけを見て、社会の変化に違和感を持つのはもったいない！
表現の変化を楽しむのもいいですね。例えば・・・
✓「IT」→「AI」
近年は「IT」という表現を見なくなりました。なんでも「AI」ですね。
「IT」とはなにか？「AI」とはなにか？
30年以上前にドラクエⅣで言われた「AI」とは違うのか？
改めて考えてみるのも面白いものです。
✓「女優」→「俳優」
私は個人的にこれが最も違和感が大きいです。
「俳優の〇〇さん（女性）」と言われてもピンときません。
あなたが最も違和感が大きい表現の変化はなんですか？
✓ちなみに、表現の厳密さは特許の世界でもそうです。
特許の場合は、出願時を基準に言葉の意味が判断されます。
曖昧な表現（辞書に載っていないなど）はきちんと定義しましょう。

The term "IT" has become rare these days. Everything is "AI," isn't it?
What is "IT"? What is "AI"?
Is it different from the "AI" mentioned in Dragon Quest IV over 30 years ago?
It's interesting to think about it again.
✓ "Actress" → "Actor"
Personally, this is the most jarring change for me.
Even if someone says, "Actress XX (female)," it doesn't quite register.

In the case of patents, the meaning of words is determined based on the time of application.
Ambiguous expressions (those not found in dictionaries, etc.) should be properly defined.
