これに触れてみましょう。
「報道用語」「マスコミ用語」などと言われるものがあります。
報道用語について本記事を読むとこんなことがわかります。
✓報道機関はわざとなのではなく実は知識不足なのかもしれない？

さすがに日本が大変だ！みたいな論調はなくなりましたが。
ここで重要なのは、
✓「国の借金」の報道を見ても、正確なところはみな分からない
これは報道機関の説明が不十分なことを意味しています。
報道機関には「国の借金」についての専門家はいないのでしょう。
専門家であれば、わかりやすく伝えたくなるものです。
私も特許についてはしっかり伝えないと気持ち悪いものです。
一方、知識が不十分なことは、曖昧な説明になってしまうものです。
あなたにも覚えがあると思います。
つまり「国の借金」のような「報道用語」は曖昧さをごまかす用語！
そう考えるのも自然なことです。
■（２）報道用語を都合よく解釈しよう！
そんな曖昧な報道用語です。
私たちは都合よく解釈するのもいいものです。
「国の借金」は私のイメージでは国民の資産に対応するもの？
「国の借金」が1300兆なら、国民一人当たり1000万円ほど。
貯蓄のほか家や車など資産を含めると、実感ともほぼ一致しませんか？
国の借金が増えるのは、日本人が貯蓄好きだから？
こんな感じで、専門ではないことの説明は曖昧になります（笑）
でもそう考えてなにも困ることはないです。
✓「夏日」は、春なら温かく、夏なら涼しい、つまり最高の気温！
✓「AI」は良い内容のときは「生成AI」、悪い内容のときは単に「AI」
あなたにも違和感のある報道用語があるでしょう。
都合よく解釈してみるのもいいものです。頭の体操にもなります！

Everyone is discussing "national debt" online.
The tone of "Japan is in serious trouble!" has certainly disappeared.
The important point here is:
✓ Even when we see news reports about "national debt," we don't really know the exact figures.
This means that the media's explanations are insufficient.
It seems that the media doesn't have experts on "national debt."
If they were experts, they would want to explain things clearly.
I, too, feel uncomfortable if I don't explain patents clearly.
On the other hand, insufficient knowledge leads to vague explanations.
You've probably experienced this yourself.
In other words, "news jargon" like "national debt" is a term used to gloss over ambiguity!
It's natural to think that way.
■ (2) Let's interpret news jargon to suit our own convenience!
That's how vague news jargon is.
It's okay for us to interpret it to suit our own convenience.
In my image, "national debt" corresponds to the assets of the people?
If "national debt" is 1300 trillion yen, that's about 10 million yen per person.
If we include assets such as houses and cars in addition to savings, doesn't that roughly match our perception?
Is the national debt increasing because Japanese people like to save? As you can see, explanations of things outside my area of expertise tend to be vague (lol).
But there's no harm in thinking that way.
Other news terms include "summer day" and "AI."
✓ "Summer day" means warm in spring and cool in summer—in other words, the perfect temperature!
✓ "AI" is used for "generative AI" when referring to positive content, and simply "AI" when referring to negative content.
You've probably encountered some news terms that feel strange to you.
It's good to try interpreting them in a way that suits you. It's a good mental exercise!
