特許を出して特許になる率（特許率）にこだわる理由
✓「個人様専門」「元特許審査官が運営」
そしてもう一つ「特許率」にこだわりを持っています。
ただ、特許率についてはあまり世の中で言われませんね。
（そういえば、弁護士の勝訴率みたいなものもあまり言われませんね）
本記事は「特許率」について述べてみます。

■（１）特許率について世の中であまり言われない理由
特許率について世の中であまり言われない理由は、
①特許になるかは運の要素もある
②特許率が高いとむしろ良くない（発明を限定し過ぎている？）
③お客様に過度な期待を与えない
①も②も実は違うのですが、こう言われることはあります。
一番大きな理由は③ですね。
■（２）私どもが特許率にこだわる理由
その理由はこう思ってもらいたいからです。
✓あの特許事務所で出した特許は警戒しないと！模倣など避けよう！
個人発明家は、大企業と違い、金銭面は弱いでしょう。
特許を出して、すぐにビジネスを進める方も多いです。
ビジネスがうまく進めば、審査を受けて特許取得を目指せます。
特許になる前であっても、他者から警戒してもらえることが重要です。
特許を出した発明品の模倣を防止しやすくなります。
私どもは個人様専門として10数年やってきました。
特許率にこだわりをもっているのもこのためです。
■（３）特許率を上げる考え方
特許率を上げるためには、いつもお伝えしている特許調査が重要です。
（この点は私どもの特徴の一つ、元特許審査官の知見が生かせます）
特許調査を行うことで、上記①～③の対策になります。
つまり、
①特許になるかどうかを運任せにしないで済む
②発明の内容を過度に限定しなくて済む
③特許になる期待が高まる
これらはどんな特許でも確実にそうなるとまでは言えません。
特に③はやはりお客様に過度な期待を与えないことは重要です。
一方で、特許率は、私たちも良い意味でのプレッシャーになります。

① and ② are actually different, but they are sometimes mentioned.
The biggest reason is ③.

The reason is that we want you to think:
✓ Be wary of patents issued by that patent office! Avoid imitation!
Unlike large corporations, individual inventors are likely financially vulnerable.
Many people file patents and immediately move their businesses forward.
If their business is going well, they can undergo patent review and aim to obtain a patent.
Even before a patent is granted, it is important for others to be wary.
This makes it easier to prevent imitation of patented inventions.

■ (3) How to Increase Patent Rates
To increase patent rates, patent research, as we always emphasize, is important.
(This is one of our unique features: we can utilize the knowledge of former patent examiners.)

In other words,
1) You don't have to leave it up to chance whether or not you'll get a patent.
2) You don't have to overly limit the content of your invention.
3) Your expectations of getting a patent increase.
These are not guaranteed to happen with any patent.
In particular, with regard to 3), it's important not to give customers excessive expectations.
On the other hand, the patent rate puts pressure on us, in a good way.
