AIが世界を滅ぼす？の本質を知財の専門家が考えてみた
代表的なのは「AIが世界を滅ぼす」系の内容ですね。
そこで知財の専門家である弁理士がその本質を考えてみました。
生成AIは世の中の情報を大量に学習して大量に生成するものとします。

■（１）ロボットが世界を滅ぼすなら・・・
AIが世界を滅ぼすというと、ロボットが出てくるものが多いですね。
ロボットが暴走して世界を滅ぼすみたいな映画がありそうです。
ただロボットが世界を滅ぼすなら、はるか昔に滅ぼされていました。
近年の生成AIのブームの前後で、この状況は何も変わっていません。
生成AIが発展する→映画に出てくるようなロボットが世界を滅ぼす…
このような因果関係はありません。
では、AIが世界を滅ぼすの本質はなんでしょう？
■（２）創作者が保護されなくなる世界
生成AIの著作権上の問題は、学習ではなく生成です。
いつもお伝えしているとおりです。
生成AIの生成物が他者の著作物そのものだったら、著作権の侵害です。
これが許されるような世界になったら、創作者は保護されません。
まさに世界が滅びます！
著作権法の悪い方向への改正は、専門家として見守りたいと思います。
ただ直近の傾向では、学習ですら問題（訴訟）にするような動きです。
ですので、まして生成のほうが許されるようにはならないでしょう。
■（３）情報が汚染しまくる世界
もう一つの世界が滅びるパターンは、情報の汚染です。
✓一方的な情報ばかりが報じられたら、それが事実と錯覚します
✓事実と少しズレた情報が多いと事実が埋もれます（情報の希釈化）
このような状態は、たしかに生成AIの悪影響でしょう。
ある意味、世界が滅びます。
ニュースなどで一方的な内容ばかりが報じられるときは要注意です。
例えば、すぐに思いつくのは、
✓悪天候ばかり報じるお天気ニュース
✓あまり大きな声では言えませんが、2020年のころの騒動
✓そして生成AIを賞賛するニュース自体もそうです
■ではどうするか？
世の中がどうあれ、自分の軸を持って情報に接することですね。
長い目で見れば、世界は良い方向に進歩するものです。
また世界がどうあろうが、個人レベルではいくらでも幸せになれます。
情報に右往左往してもはじまりません。
自分自身や大切な人の幸せのために行動していきましょう！

■ (2) A world where creators are no longer protected
The copyright issue with generative AI is not its learning, but its generation.
As I always say.
If the product of generative AI is the copyrighted work of others, it would be copyright infringement.
If this were to become permitted in a world where creators would no longer be protected,
the world would truly be destroyed!
As an expert, I would like to keep an eye on any negative changes to copyright law.
However, recent trends suggest that even learning is an issue (a lawsuit).
Therefore, it is unlikely that generation will become more acceptable.
■ (3) A world where information is constantly polluted
Another pattern for the destruction of the world is information pollution.
✓ When only one-sided information is reported, it becomes misleadingly perceived as fact.
✓ When there is a lot of information that is slightly off-base from the facts, the facts are buried (information dilution).
This situation is certainly a negative effect of generative AI.
In a sense, it could destroy the world.
Be careful when only one-sided content is reported in the news.
For example, the first things that come to mind are:
✓Weather news that only reports bad weather
✓I wouldn't say this too loudly, but the uproar around 2020
✓And the same can be said for news that praises generative AI.
■So what should we do?
No matter what the world is like, we need to approach information with our own principles.
In the long run, the world will progress in a positive direction.
And no matter what the world is like, we can be as happy as we want on an individual level.
Getting swayed by information won't get us anywhere.
