努力は報われるか？の議論がムダであるたった一つの理由
ニュースサイトにも載るほどです＾＾；
よくある議論の一つが「努力は報われるか？」
この議論は実はムダなのです。
というより、ネット上の議論の大半はムダです。
（例えば「AIは人間を超えるか？」など）
ムダな議論の見分け方をお伝えします。
■ムダな議論の見分け方
さっそく結論ですが、ムダな議論とは、
✓言葉の定義があいまいなまま進めている議論
「努力は報われるか？」
この議論で「努力」とは何でしょう？「報われる」とは何でしょう？
「努力」の定義は人によっては「苦労」と同じだったりします。
また「行動」、「継続」、「楽しいことの継続」と同じ人もいます。
「報われる」の定義も人それぞれです。
「自分が満足」「他人から賞賛」「何かを得られる」など様々です。
これでは議論がかみ合うはずがありません。
相手に反論するときも、定義を少し変えればいくらでも反論できます。
反論すること自体が目的になるような、無意味な議論になりがちです。
このように定義があいまいなまま進めている議論はムダです。
ちなみに、わたしの「努力は報われるか？」の考え方は、
✓楽しい行動を継続する（＝努力？）と楽しく幸せ
✓楽しい行動自体で報われている（他人にどう思われるかは無関係）
✓仮に何らかの成果が出たり、賞賛されるなら、それはそれで嬉しい
■なぜムダな議論ばかりなのか？
一言で言えば、時間に余裕がある人が多いということになります。
またよく言われる「ニュースのエンタメ化」もあります。
これらは悪いわけではありません。平和な世の中でなによりです。
本記事の内容は、ネット上だけでなく、実生活でも使えます。
むしろ実生活で生かしてください。議論の際は定義を明確に！

■Why are there so many pointless discussions?
In a word, it's because there are many people who have time to spare.
There is also the commonly-mentioned "entertainment of the news."
These are not bad things. It's best in a peaceful world.
If you accept that discussions are entertainment, they're not a waste of time.
