弊所に問い合わせをするとどうなるか？についてお伝えします。
■お問い合わせからの流れ
①あなたのアイデアを伺います。
②アイデアが「発明」に該当するか判断します。
③発明に該当する場合は、特許が目指せるか特許調査を行います。
④特許調査の結果、特許を出せる場合は、特許の書類を作成します。
①、②は無料です。③と④は有料です。
このような流れについては、当ブログでも度々お伝えしてきました。
本記事は③の特許調査の詳細です。
最近お問い合わせが増えたこともあり、実験的に少し変更しています。
つまり「簡易調査」を行える場合があります。
■無料で簡易調査までできることがあります
簡易調査とはこういうことです。
まず簡易的に調査します。
①すぐに関連する特許公報が見つかった場合は、ご報告します。
それで終了しても構いません。終了する場合は、費用は発生しません。
簡易調査の報告を見れば、納得感が得られることでしょう。
あるいは、改良発明をされて次のステップに進んでも構いません。
②一方、すぐに関連する特許公報が見つからない場合もあります。
その場合は、本格的な調査（③の有料の調査）を行うか確認します。
この場合も、この時点で終了することもできます。
ただ、そこで終わらすのはもったいないと思います。
特許になる可能性が高まったとも言えます。
特に、発明品を作る場合は、他者特許侵害を予防しないといけません。
③の特許調査はいずれにしても行う価値はあるのです。
■簡易調査ができない場合もあります。お問い合わせください！
簡易調査は、弊所が特許調査を多く受けていることで実現できました。
つまり、他の件の特許調査と並行して、簡易調査を行えるのです。
（私どもは特許庁に出向いて特許調査を行っています）
ぜひご利用ください。
ただ、諸事情で簡易調査ができないこともあります。
例えば、発明でないもの、他の案件とかぶるものなどです。

① If we find a related patent publication right away, we will let you know.
You can end the process there. If you do, there will be no charge.
You will be satisfied with the report of the simplified search.
Alternatively, you can invent an improved invention and move on to the next step.
② On the other hand, there may be cases where you cannot find a related patent publication right away.
In that case, we will confirm whether you want to conduct a full-scale search (paid search in ③).
In this case, you can also end the process at this point.
However, it would be a waste to end it there.
It can also be said that the possibility of obtaining a patent has increased.
Especially when creating an invention, you need to prevent infringement of other parties' patents.
In any case, it is worth conducting patent search in ③.
■There are cases where a simplified search cannot be performed. Please contact us!
