大人も子供も勉強したくなる理由を考えよう【夏休みの宿題】
社会人も３連休にお盆休みの方も多いでしょう。
「夏休みの宿題」といえば、日常会話によく出てきますね。
「物事を最終日まで延ばす」ことのたとえに使われますね＾＾；
そんな「夏休みの宿題」をやりたくなる理由を考えてみませんか？
社会人の私たちも、勉強したくなるかも知れませんね！
今回は算数編です。こんなのはどうでしょうか？
算数を勉強すると、
✔①実生活で得をする
✔②話題が豊富になる
✔③ニュースにだまされなくなる
などなど
以下、①～③の例題をあげてみますので、考えてみませんか？
小学生でも解けますが、大人は下手すると苦戦する？
■①実生活で得をする
パン屋さんで、代金の半額分のチケットをもらえます。
例えば、500円のパンを買うと、250円分のチケットをもらえます。
このパン屋さん、何割引きでしょうか？
お隣りに４割引きのパン屋さんがあったら、どっちがお得でしょうか？
■②話題が豊富になる
両親の血液型がＡ型だとします。お子さんもほぼＡ型ですね。
そんなご家庭も多いと思います（話題にどうぞ！）
このケースで、お子さんがＡ型でない確率はどのくらいでしょうか？
■③ニュースにだまされなくなる
ある検査をすると、陽性か陰性かで結果が出ます。
この検査は99％で正しい結果を出します。
例えば、病気に罹っていると、99％で陽性になります。
では逆に、この検査で陽性のとき、病気に罹っている可能性は何％？
■宿題（勉強）を楽しもう！
上記の問題は、どれも解けたら楽しそうじゃないですか。
ちなみに、誤答のほうの例としては、
①は５割引き（半額）、②は１/４、③は99％です。
（③は下手すると0％のこともある。あの大騒動が懐かしい！）
最近は、宿題をAIにやらすのがどうかなど、お騒がせですね＾＾；
「宿題は楽しいので、AIにやらすなんてもったいない！」
そんな子供達がいずれAIなど最先端技術に携わるのかも知れませんね！

Let's say both parents have type A blood. Your child is also likely to be type A.
I'm sure there are many families like this (feel free to use this as a topic of conversation!)
In this case, what is the probability that your child is not type A?
(Please consider other blood type cases as well!)
■③You will no longer be fooled by the news
When you take a test, the result will be positive or negative.
This test will give you a 99% correct result.
For example, if you have a disease, there is a 99% chance that you will get a positive result.
On the other hand, if this test is positive, what is the percentage chance that you have the disease?
■Enjoy your homework (studying)!
All of the above problems would be fun if you could solve them, wouldn't they?
Even elementary school students who have the ability to think should be able to solve them.
By the way, examples of incorrect answers are
① is 50% off (half price), ② is 1/4, and ③ is 99%.
(③ could even be 0%. I miss that big fuss!)
Recently, there's been a lot of fuss about whether or not we should let AI do our homework ^^;
"Homework is fun, so it's a waste to let AI do it!"
Maybe kids like this will one day be involved in cutting-edge technology like AI!
