サードプレイスを作ろう！無料で知的なあの場所はいかが？
サードプレイス（third place）とは、
✔自宅や職場でもない、居心地の良いカフェ等の「第3の場所」のこと
✔ストレス社会において、ゆったりとリラックスできる場所を持つこと
✔責任感などから開放され、人生のさまざまな面でメリットがある
そんなサードプレイスのおススメをご紹介します。
無料で知的なあの場所です！
■図書館はサードプレイスにおススメ！
わたしは東京都中央区の八丁堀に住んでいます。
弊所：東雲特許事務所も、以前は八丁堀にありました。
そんな「都心」の八丁堀ですが、遊び場はまったくありません（笑）
以前は毎日、事務所と自宅の往復でした。
たまたま先日、入手困難な本を借りに図書館に行きました。
そうです、ここ八丁堀にも図書館はあるのです（笑）
図書館はサードプレイスとしては最適ですね。
✔一昔前とは全然違い近代化している！
✔休館日は少なく、平日は夜９時までやっている！
✔椅子や机も豊富にある！暑さ寒さもへっちゃら！
✔老若男女問わず多くの利用者がいて、特に若い人も多い！
✔みんなが勉強や読書など知的活動をしている！
図書館ならあなたのお近くにもあるのではないでしょうか？
知的な活動なら何をするにしても、図書館は最適でおススメです！
■「知識」だけあっても仕方ない、大事なのは「知恵」？
よくこんなことが言われますね。

例えば、頭でっかちで仕事ができない人を揶揄する表現ですね。
言いたいことはわかります。
ただ、そもそも私たちって「知識」ってありますでしょうか？
図書館でざっと本を見渡します。
この中で読んだことがある本は、１％もないように思います。
世の中で知らないことなんて、いくらでもあるものです。
知識が増えれば、知恵にもつながるはずです！
そこでたまたま目に入った「子ども版・三国志」を読んでみることに！
イヤホンで音楽を聴きながら、リラックスタイムを過ごします。
■意外なサードプレイス
意外なサードプレイスを見つけるのも面白いものですね！
わたしは図書館以外に「地下駅のホーム」がサードプレイスの一つ。
（事務所を渋谷に移転したことで、いまは電車通勤もしています）
バーなどをサードプレイスにするのもいいですね。
わたしはバーで読書や勉強はしにくいので、無理か・・・
いや、意外とバーで読書や勉強も面白い経験かも知れません！

Libraries are perfect third places.

✔It is rarely closed and is open until 9pm on weekdays!
✔We also have plenty of chairs and desks! Beat the heat and cold!
✔There are many users regardless of age or gender, especially young people!
✔Everyone is doing intellectual activities such as studying and reading!

Spend some relaxing time listening to music with earphones.
■Unexpected third place
It's fun to find unexpected third places!
Besides the library, one of my third places is the underground station platform.
(Since I moved my office to Shibuya, I now also commute by train.)
It's also a good idea to use a bar as a third place.
It's hard for me to read or study at a bar, so maybe it's not possible...
Actually, reading and studying at a bar can be an interesting experience!
