川辺でアイスを売ると水難事故が増える！あなたならどうする？
あなたがこのエリアの責任者（例：町長）だったら、どうします？
アイスを売るのを禁止しますか？
今日は「因果関係」と「相関関係」についての理解です。
とはいえ、小難しい用語はともかく「頭の体操」をしてみましょう！
■カラオケで歌うと歌手がお亡くなりになる！どうする？
最近、著名な歌手が次々のお亡くなりになりました。
谷村新司さんと、もんたよしのりさんです。
ご冥福をお祈り申し上げます。
ネットでは彼らの思い出が語られます。
おれはあの曲が好きだった！昔はよく歌ったもんだ！など。
実はわたしは、そのレベルを超えていたりします。
つい最近も、彼らの曲をカラオケで歌ったりしていました。
特に谷村新司さんの曲は、つい最近歌ったばかり。
「いい日旅立ち」を（山口百恵さんではなく）谷村新司さんで。
こんな話を仲間内でしていたところ、
✔あなたが曲を歌うと、歌手がお亡くなりになる
まるで「デスノート」扱い＾＾；
ではわたしは、カラオケをやめるべきなのでしょうか？

そんなはずはありませんね。
わたしが好きな曲は、当然ですが、昔の曲も多いわけです。
歌手も比較的高齢の方が多いですね。
そしてもちろん「デスノート」は持っていません！
つまり、わたしが歌うのと、歌手がお亡くなりなることは、
✔一定の関係（相関関係）はあるけど原因と結果（因果関係）ではない
■川辺でアイスを売ると水難事故が増える！あなたならどうする？
では冒頭の「アイスを売ると水難事故が増える」はどうでしょうか？
なにか因果関係があるのか？となりそうですが、そうではありません。
つまり、アイスが売られるのは、暑い季節ですね。
水難事故が増えるのは、当然なのです。
アイスが売られるから、水難事故が増えるわけではない。
つまり、これらには因果関係はないのです。
ただ、これに近い例が、政治の世界で起こるとやっかいですね。
因果関係はないのに、カラオケやアイス販売を禁止したりします＾＾；
あなたの身の回りにも、これと似たようなことはないでしょうか？
（例）ピアノを習うと学力が上がるなど
ネットで「因果関係」「相関関係」で調べてみるのもいいですね。
