台風は右側が風が強い？お子さんに説明できますか？
最初聞いたときは、台風に左とか右とかあるの？という印象でした。
理系の弁理士としては、暗記するのではなく、理解したい！
せっかくなので、子供に質問されたらどう答えるか？を考えてみます。
■台風は右側が風が強い？
暗記した方がいいものは暗記し、理解した方がいいものは理解する。
これが学ぶときの基本ですね。
まず予備知識として、
①台風は反時計回り（左回り）
これは理解するのが大変なので、覚えてしまってもいいでしょう。
①だと、台風の右側は、台風の進行方向と、風の向きが同じになる。
台風の左側は、台風の進行方向と、風の向きが逆で、打ち消し合う。
→よって、②台風は右側が風が強い！
これでいいのかな？
あれ？台風の進行方向って、いつも同じなんだっけ？
子供ならそんな疑問を持つかも知れませんね。
③台風は南から北に進む
これは覚えると言うよりは、天気図がいつもそんな感じですね。
南のほうが温かいから？日本の場合、南が海だから？
台風が南から北に進むなら、やはり台風の右側が風が強いでOKですね。
改めて①～③を並べてみます。
①台風は反時計回り（左回り）
この①～③はいずれか２つを覚えていれば、もう一つは導けます。
③は覚えやすいとして、①は理解が難しいので覚える？
それならそもそもの②を覚えてしまってもいいかも知れませんね＾＾；
