冷房付けると寒い、消すと暑い…特許のプロがすすめる設定は？

このランダムさが快適です。ずっと低温よりもいいものです。
最近は、エアコン付いているか付いてないか、一瞬迷うくらいです。
ちなみに上記ニュースの家電のプロのおススメは、
✔エアコンと扇風機（サーキュレータ）を併用する
単に温度を下げるより、風との組み合わせが良いのは同感です。
ある意味、無難なアドバイスですね。
周期的な扇風機よりも、ランダムな窓からの風のほうがベターです。
