ＡＩと鳩はどちらが優秀？～ＡＩに決定的に足りない要素とは？
この表現は２つの点で曖昧です。
ＡＩとはなにか？この点は置いておきましょう。
なんとなく世の中でＡＩと言っているものとします。
本記事はＡＩが優秀なのかという点についてです。
わたしはむしろＡＩは否定派ではありません。
だからこそ本記事を書いてみます。
■ＡＩのおかげで鳩がかわいい
わたしの趣味の一つは公園巡りです。
公園で読書を楽しみます。
ここ都心は、雨がほとんど降りません。
「昨年ほどではないが空梅雨」という印象です。
暑さも、内陸と比べれば良いほうです。
本格的に暑くなる前に、公園巡りを楽しんでいます。
公園のベンチに座っていると、鳩をたくさん見かけます。
ＡＩを学んでいて、鳩がとてもかわいいと感じるようになりました。
「自分の意思で」歩いて、食べて、飛んでいるからです。
同じように、スズメもかわいいし、散歩中の犬もかわいい。
みんな「優秀」です。
ＡＩはある特定の能力に関しては「優秀」なのでしょう。
ただ「自律性」については優秀どころか、可能性すら感じられません。
わたしはこれがまったく理解できません。
世界を滅ぼすなら、ＡＩよりむしろ動物かなと思うくらいです。
例えば、鳩が突然変異して、
✔巨大な鳩になって、動き回って建築物を破壊する
✔猛毒を持つ鳩になって、人類を攻撃する
などのほうがまだ可能性はゼロではないと思ったりします。
それくらい「自律性」という要素は重要です。
■車の性能が上がれば空を飛べる？
もちろん、ＡＩの計算力や記憶力は「優秀」と言えるでしょう。
人間を凌駕しています（はるか以前からのことで今更感はありますが）
現時点の「ＡＩが優秀」というニュースなどを見ていると、
✔車の性能アップは目覚ましく、いずれ空を飛べるようになります！
こんな内容に感じてくるのです。
（むしろニュースライターがＡＩを否定しているとさえ感じます）
優秀にはいろんな面があります。
車に空飛ぶ機能は要らないように、ＡＩに自律性は必要ありません。
人間が道具として使う分には、ＡＩの優秀さを生かせるでしょう。
わたしはそれよりも鳩のかわいさ（優秀さ）に元気をもらっています！

When I sit on a park bench, I see a lot of pigeons.
As I've been learning about AI, I've come to feel that pigeons are very cute.
That's because they walk, eat, and fly "of their own volition."
In the same way, sparrows are cute, and dogs on walks are cute.
They are all "excellent."
AI may be "excellent" in certain abilities.
However, when it comes to "autonomy," it's not only not excellent, but I don't even feel it has any potential.
We often see news like "AI will destroy the world someday."
I don't understand this at all.
If the world were to be destroyed, I think it would be an animal rather than AI.
For example, I think it's more likely that a pigeon could mutate,
✔ turn into a giant pigeon that moves around and destroys buildings,
✔ turn into a poisonous pigeon that attacks humans,
That's how important the element of "autonomy" is.
■If the performance of a car improves, will it be able to fly in the sky?
Of course, AI's calculation power and memory can be said to be "excellent."
It surpasses humans (although it's been like that for a long time and it feels a little late to say this now)
When I see news about "excellent AI" at the moment,
✔ the performance of cars has improved remarkably, and they will eventually be able to fly in the sky!
That's how I feel.
(In fact, it even feels like news writers are dismissing AI.)
Excellence has many aspects.
Just as a car doesn't need flying capabilities, AI doesn't need autonomy.
As long as humans use AI as a tool, the excellence of AI can be put to good use.
More than that, I'm energized by the cuteness (excellence) of pigeons!
