話し上手は「たとえ」上手！たとえに著作権はあるか？
本記事では話し上手に近づける一つの考え方をお伝えします。

■（１）話し上手は「たとえ」上手
伝わりやすい話し方の一つに「PREP法」が知られています。
（PREP法をご存じない方は、調べてみるといいですね。）
PREP法がわかりやすいのは、
✔小難しい結論（P）を、わかりやすい例（E）で説明するから（★）
つまり、話し上手は「たとえ」が上手なのです。
話しがうまい人の話しには「例えば」がよく出てきます。
そういう観点で話し上手の方のお話しを聞いてみてください！
「たとえ」なんてそんな簡単にできないよということもあるでしょう。
そういうときには、話しがうまい人の話しをたくさん聞きましょう。
面白いたとえ（例えば）が出てきたら、メモしておくのもいいですね。
そのたとえのストックは、きっと話し上手につながるはずです。
あれ？他人のたとえを勝手に使っていいの？
■（２）たとえに著作権はあるか？
基本的に「たとえ」に著作権はありません。
例えばスピーチで考えてみましょう。
スピーチ自体は、著作物となり、著作権が発生します。
他人のスピーチを動画に撮って、YouTubeでアップなどはできません。
ただ、スピーチの「内容」には、著作権はありません。
著作権は、アイデアを保護するものではないからです。
例外的なものはありますが、原則はこのように考えて大丈夫です。
「たとえ」それ自体には、著作権は発生しません。
たとえ「たとえ」がどんなに上手なたとえでもです。
■おまけで上記（★）の例を一つ示します
「現実社会を動かす場合、エネルギーの種類×量が大切です！」
こんなお話しがあったら、わかりにくいですね＾＾；
「懐中電灯の電池は、単３が10本じゃだめで、単１が３本必要です」
こんなたとえがあればわかりやすい。

If you come across an interesting analogy (for example), it's a good idea to write it down.
This stock of analogies will surely help you become a better speaker.
that? Is it okay to use someone else's analogy without permission?
■(2) Is there copyright in parables?
Basically, there is no copyright in "parables".
For example, consider a speech.
The speech itself is a work of art and is subject to copyright.
You cannot record a video of someone else's speech and upload it to YouTube.
However, the "content" of a speech is not copyrighted.
Copyright doesn't protect ideas.
There are exceptions, but the general rule is that it is safe to think of it this way.
